BACK TO SCHOOL BASICS WORKSHOP & SCHOOL SUPPLY GIVE-AWAY

Make this your child’s best school year ever!
This workshop, which starts at 10:30 a.m. and lasts about one hour, explores how parents of children ages 5-18 can help improve their child’s school performance. It provides common sense tips and research-based approaches explaining how children learn and ways to best prepare them to learn.
It will be held in the Library’s Conference Room, Bldg. 1171. Attendees will get free school supplies for their child at the end of the workshop.

CELEBRATION PARTY for the SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Reading by Design, the DoD’s Summer Reading Program, continues its drive for more readers, but will end with a party on the library lawn from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, July 29.
Register any time before the program ends and track your reading time online at https://petersonafblibrary.beanstack.org. As you log your reading time you will earn digital badges and automatically be entered to win prize drawings throughout the program. You will even earn a digital badge and a T-shirt just for registering! If you sign up outside of the library, please stop by to confirm registration and pick up your T-shirt.
