Beginning Monday, April 3, you can sign up for a garden plot in the Community Garden, located behind the Airman’s Attic on Selfridge St. (across from the Youth Center). Each garden plot is 4’ x 8’, and there is a $35 fee per plot that covers usage from April 3 – October 31, 2023. The fee gives the gardener access to water spigots, use of hoses, pull cart, shed, and compost tumbler.
Starting April 17, multiple plots may be signed up for. For information and to rent a garden plot, call Outdoor Recreation at 719-556-4867, Option 1, or visit them in Bldg. 640. For more information, visit https://www.21fss.com/community-garden/
