We hope you enjoyed our really big August party, the annual Family Festival & Concert in the Park, 4:30-8 p.m. Friday, August 3, in Patriot Park, located on the north side of the Youth Center.
Hands down, it was a Blast. Live music lifted our spirits and our feet, thanks to one of the region’s best bluegrass groups, GRASS IT UP. Winner of the Indy Music Awards six years running, Grass It Up delivered beyond our expectations.
This year, attendees enjoyed new elements: a foam pit, mechanical bull, Laser Tag, and a Pump Track. And, of course, there were the assortment of our popular giant inflatables.
Food and beverages (including beer) were available for purchase. The FUN was free.
Blankets, lawn chairs, coolers, and sun-kissed smiling faces spread across the grounds like a patchwork quilt on this relaxed summer evening.
