BOULDER AND BREWS
Introducing Boulders and Brews to the 2017 summer programs. Boulder is a great way to learn about climbing techniques and develop strength for those big, powerful, must-make moves. Boulders and Brews is also a great way to meet local climbers who share the same passion for climbing and a good pint. Join OAP for an evening of fun and libations.
Dates: August 24, September 28
Time: 4-9 p.m.
Sign up: At least 48 hours prior to trip departure.
Requirements: Must be at least 16 years old (accompanied by guardian) to boulder; must be at least 21 years old to brew.
GARDEN OF THE GODS CLIMBING DAY
Garden of the Gods was one of the first established climbing areas in the country, and for good reason. With amazing rock formations and a rich history of Native American culture, Garden of the Gods is one of the best climbing areas along the Front Range. Take advantage of a great day of climbing with our knowledgeable, skilled staff as they guide you around this incredible local resource.

Time: 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
Sign up: Wednesday prior to trip departure.
Requirements: Must be at least 12 years old.
ADVANCED OUTDOOR CLIMBING ORIENTATION
Get off the gym’s climbing wall and onto the real thing – hard rock.
We’ll help you learn to climb safely outside. Over a course of three days, our skilled staff will teach you all you need to know in order to climb outside with confidence.
Some topics that will be addressed are: knots, climbing site management, natural anchor building, sport climbing, bolt anchor building, rescue techniques, and traditional gear placements.
