CAPT DAVID LYON MEMORIAL PARK
Capt Lyon Memorial Park, formerly Eagle Park, offers a sand volleyball court, playground, picnic tables, grills, horseshoe pits, electricity, restrooms and parking.

Park rules:
Park hours are from dawn to dusk.
Clean up your area.
No smoking in the base parks.
No dogs allowed in the park area. Dogs must be on a leash at all times on the base trails; dogs may run freely in the designated dog park on base.
Approved motor vehicles only.
Use only approved parking area.
Large canopies require a dig permit. For other options, call 719-556-2767.

Reservations:
The pavilion and surrounding area are available for reservation on a first-come, first-served basis. We accept reservations for the period February 1 – October 31, weather permitting. Serving Alcohol:
Any group wishing to serve alcohol at their function must fill out a Dram Shop Theory Liability form when making their park/pavilion reservation. Contact the park’s manager at 719-556-2767 to see is any other information is needed.

PEAK VIEW PARK
Conveniently located across from the Base Exchange, this new park offers an unobstructed view of Pikes Peak. On a clear day you can see well beyond the USAF Academy to the north and to the lone Spanish Peaks to the south. Awesome view!

What We Offer:
Peak View Park offers a 9-hole Frisbee golf course, a 9-hole Mini Golf course, sand volleyball court, playground, picnic tables, grills, horseshoe pits, electricity, restrooms and parking. Peak View Park also has ten garden plots, each  3′ x 6′, that are available; water is available for irrigation.

The 9-hole Mini Golf is open to all ages – DoD ID cardholders and their dependents.

Golf clubs, balls, score sheets and pencils are available at the Peak View Park management office, which is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday year round; closed Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, family days, federal holidays and when the base is having a military exercise. If you want to play Mini Golf before or after  those hours or on other days, you must bring your own putter and golf balls. No reservations are necessary.

And, if you need some refreshments after your Mini Golf, soda and snack vending machines are available there, too. Note that no dogs – leashed or unleashed, food or beverages are permitted on the course. No smoking is permitted on the course.
