SINK OR FLOAT CARDBOARD REGATTA

So, what floats your boat: giggles, imagination, silliness, fun with friends and family? Well, you’ve come to the right place.

Bring your boats and be prepared to sink or swim at the Aquatics Center’s Cardboard Regatta 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, August 5.

  • Two Race Categories:  Individual and Team (two or more people per team)
  • Two Competitions:  Spirit Award and Fastest Boat

Entry fee:  FREE for all Aquatics Center members; non-member children, $4 and non-member adults, $5.

Sign up by Wednesday, August 2, at the Aquatics Center. Provide your boat / team name and pick up a copy of the Sink or Float Cardboard Boat Race Rules. Payment will be collected the day of the regatta.

RESERVE THE AQUATIC CENTER ( THE POOL)

*Please come in to reserve all parties and rentals at least two weeks in advance. A deposit of 50% is required as well as a signed party agreement.

POOL BIRTHDAY PARTIES* – for After-Hour Parties

The entire pool (Aquatic Center) can be rented for after-hour parties.

Each pool birthday party after hours includes three large pizzas of your choice and three pitchers of soda.

  • 50 or fewer people – Members $210; Non-members $250.
  • More than 50 people – Members $260; Non-members $300.

POOL BIRTHDAY PARTIES* – for Parties During Regular Hours

Each pool birthday party after hours includes three large pizzas of your choice and three pitchers of soda.

  • 15 or fewer people – Members $107; Non-members $125.
  • More than 15 people – $4/each additional person.

POOL RENTAL* – for any After-Hour Non-Party Event

Pool Rental – $55/hour, and is based on 50 or fewer people.

LANE RENTAL*

You may reserve a maximum of three lanes at the pool. Each lane rented during facility hours is $11/hour.

MICHAEL PHELPS VISITED THE AQUATIC CENTER at PETERSON AFB, MARCH 2015

Michael Phelps, an 18-time Olympic gold medalist in swimming, visited with young swimmers who had enrolled in his im Swim Program at Peterson AFB’s Aquatic Center.

The kids had questions galore about swimming for Phelps; he listened and laughed and shared pointers about arm position, swim style, having goals and working hard to achieve them.
