We want customers to be aware of and well-informed of some of the ski resorts’ COVID policies before they spend the time and money to rent gear and get to the mountains, just to find out they can’t buy lift tickets, or they needed a reservation.

MONARCH SKI LESSONS
If you are new to skiing or snowboarding, taking lessons can give you the skills and confidence to drastically increase your enjoyment of the sport.
This season we are partnering with Monarch Mountain to offer our customers a ski lesson package which includes a shuttle ride to and from the mountain, lift ticket, rental equipment, and a four hour lesson. This is an amazing deal and spots will fill up fast, so call soon to reserve your lesson!

INTRO TO BACKCOUNTRY SKIING / SNOWBOADING – Partnered with USAFA!
NOTE: This trip is designed for beginner backcountry skiers, but, due to the nature of backcountry skiing and snowboarding, you should not sign up for this trip unless you are able to comfortably ski or ride a black diamond on the resort.
Get off the resort and spend a day skiing and riding your own personal powder, big lines, and tranquil trees in the backcountry.
This one day trip geared toward beginner backcountry users will teach you the basics of using modern backcountry touring equipment and avalanche safety gear.
It’s also a great way to get some perspective on how to stay safe and have fun, deep in the mountains, away from the chairlifts.
Your guide will take you to the best snow around, and show you the benefits to earning your turns in the Rockies! These trips are for intermediate to advanced level resort skiers and riders, and folks who are cardio fit.

SKI BIKE LESSONS

Ever seen a ski bike on the hill and wondered how to get on one yourself? Here’s your chance! Join Outdoor Rec as we head up to a local ski resort for a personalized ski bike lesson.

Restrictions: Must be intermediate to advanced skier/snowboarder; must be 13 years of age or older.

GUIDED BACKCOUNTRY SKIING / SNOWBOARDING
Folks with previous backcountry experience who don’t need the intro level curriculum can come out and just ride!
Our guides will take you around our backcountry zones getting as much vertical in as possible in the day and sniff out the best conditions for you.
Learn some Jedi level tricks to find the best snow, set the most efficient skin track or how to ride more challenging backcountry terrain. This is a great way to learn about a new zone and get the mentorship needed to continue your backcountry career!

SKI, SOAK & STAY
One of the best ways to enjoy skiing and snowboarding in Colorado is spending the night minutes away from the mountain. One of the better ways is to include hot springs, too!
Join us for this exciting weekend of racing down Monarch Mountain and, just when you thought the day was over, we’ll head over to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs to soak and stay at their luxurious resort.
