2013 Summer Reading Program

Oh, my goodness! The places we’ve been and the things we’ve seen!

Have Book, Will Travel was the theme of this year’s Summer Reading Program at the Library at Peterson AFB.

The reading program began with registration on June 3 and quickly rounded up a total of 716 eager readers. And, what’s more important, they logged about 6,000 hours of reading, which took them to places and introduced them to characters along the way. What an adventure!

The Summer Reading Program ended Saturday, July 13, with an outdoor party from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Library, Bldg. 1171. An estimated 175 children and adults attended the event, celebrating a great summer of reading.
