Easter Events

These festive Easter celebrations were hosted at several 21FSS activities on Saturday, March 31.  The entire day was packed with non-stop FUN for our customers and their families.

EASTER EGG 5K SCAVENGER RUN

The day started off with a 5k Easter Run/Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at the Fitness Center.

Easter eggs were placed throughout the course. The top male and top female runner to finish first with the most eggs received a prize. There was also a prize for the runner who found the golden egg.

All ages were welcome to attend.

  • EGGSTRAVAGANZA

The Youth Center hosted egg hunts, face painting, balloon artists, bounce houses, games, arts and crafts from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. Saturday, March 31, in Patriot Park. Egg hunt times were: ages 0-4 at 10:30 a.m.; ages 5-8 at 11 a.m.; ages 9-11 at 11:30 a.m.  Blue Bell Creameries offered their ice cream samples, to everyone’s delight.   Six lucky winners left the event with bikes, courtesy of CB Mortgage.    The ever-popular Chick-fil-A Easter Cow and the GEICO Gecko provided unlimited hugs.

  • BOWLING WITH THE EASTER BUNNY

The Bowling Center was packed, from 12-2 p.m. Saturday. The Easter Bunny hopped onto the lanes to join in on the fun. Kids bowled one FREE game, which included FREE shoes. Parents bowled at $2/game, and got FREE shoes. If kids wanted to bowl more than one game, additional games were just $2 each. And, the first fifty kids who came in to bowl that day received a FREE chocolate Easter Bunny. Yay!

Plus, there was a kid-friendly lunch special for $3, which included a hot dog, chips and a soda.

This was definitely a warm-fuzzy event.

  • SPLASH FOR EGGS

Attendees enjoyed a FREE egg scavenger hunt in the pool – a Splash for Eggs – from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the Aquatic Center.

The scavenge times were staggered to safely accommodate children of different ages:  0 to 5 from 2-2:30 p.m.; 6-10 from 2:45-3:15 p.m.; 11 and older from 3:30-4 p.m.
