Reservations
Reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance for summer equipment rental items, and are highly recommended on large items like grills, dunk booths, utility trailers, and equipment for large group functions.
Skis can only be reserved one week in advance. You may be fitted and take the equipment the same day. Fittings end 30 minutes prior to close. A fitting information card will be kept on file. A non-refundable deposit of 50 percent is due at time of reservation. Skis must be picked up between 3 and 6 p.m. on the reservation date. Skis must be returned by noon on the return date or an extra day rental may be charged.
All equipment is checked out based on current availability. ODR is not responsible if equipment is not used for weather conditions or other circumstances that may prevent a customer from being able to use the equipment.
Equipment Delivery and Setup
We can do the work for you. On-base equipment delivery is $35*; on-base delivery and setup is $100*. Off-base equipment delivery is only within the city limits of Colorado Springs and costs $75*. (No equipment setup off base.) Rates for equipment delivery and setup may vary based on the quantity of equipment involved.
Please note that the delivery and setup fees do not include the equipment rental fee. The equipment delivery and setup service is not available for free squadron issue items.
Rental Rates
There is a minimum one-day charge on all items rented. The day of checkout before 3 p.m is a charged day. Charges will begin on the following day for equipment checked out after 3 p.m. Failure to pick up reserved items or cancel a reservation within 48 hours of scheduled pickup will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit (50 percent rental fee). Late charges will be added when equipment is returned after the due date in the amount of daily rental fee for each day past due plus 50 percent.
Condition of Equipment
Thoroughly inspect each item before leaving our facility. If the condition does not meet your satisfaction, simply ask any member of the Outdoor Recreation Team to replace it with a like item or have the loan receipt annotated to indicate the discrepancy. It will be assumed that any equipment checked out is in a serviceable condition unless noted on the receipt. Damage or loss of any item will be charged against the user for the cost to repair or replace that item, in accordance with applicable regulations. All equipment must be returned in its pre-rental condition, i.e. tents will be completely dry, food preparation and storage equipment should be well cleaned, ice & water coolers must be thoroughly dry, cleaned inside and out.
Late Return Policy
When checking out equipment, you will be asked for a specific return date. If the equipment is returned after the specified date, it is considered late. There will be a late charge assessed for each item returned after the due date. Late charges will be added when equipment is returned after the due date in the amount of daily rental fee for each day past due plus 50 percent.
