The Outdoor Adventure Program (OAP) is a non-appropriated fund activity designed to contribute to readiness and improve productivity through programs promoting fitness, esprit-de-corps, and quality of life. Trips are planned with the novice adventurer in mind but offer plenty of challenges for the advanced or experienced. Programs include downhill skiing, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and much more!
Who is eligible
Active duty military, military retirees, reserves, Air National Guard, DOD employees, their dependents and up to three additional guests are welcome to participate in any pre-scheduled Outdoor Adventure Program, or we can help you custom plan your own trip for a group or squadron. Participants must be at least 8 years of age unless otherwise noted. If under age 18 you must be accompanied by an adult.
How to Sign Up For a Trip or Activity
To sign up for an Outdoor Adventure Program, stop by Outdoor Recreation, pick the trip you would like to attend, pay 50% of the fee, and you're on your way to adventure! The balance must be paid 72-hours prior to your trip.
Accident Waiver and Release of Liability
Before you participate in any of Outdoor Recreation's programs, you must read and sign an accident waiver and release of liability. For your convenience and save time the day of the trip, we urge you to download the form (click here), read and sign it in advance, and bring it with you the day of the trip.
Refunds and Cancellations Policy
Payments are refundable when military commitments or medical emergencies are involved, provided that the participant shows documentation upon refund request. Any trip is subject to cancellation due to unsafe weather conditions or a lack of participation.
War Fit, Youth Activities, Family Outings
Your Outdoor Recreation center is geared to do everything outdoors. We have the equipment and knowledge to take your group anywhere. You pick the activity, you pick the location, you pick the dates and we'll make it happen.
