EASTER EGG-STRAVAGANZA
A delightful way to gather holiday treats and meet the Easter Bunny. Open 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, April 23, free, at the RP Lee Youth Center.
1 year olds – 10 a.m.
2-3 year olds – 10-10:15 a.m.
4-5 year olds – 10:45-11 a.m.
6-8 year olds – 11:30-11:45 a.m.
Ages 9-18 hunt for eggs with a flashlight beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, April 22, in Eagle Park.
AMERICA’S KIDS RUN
Are you a bundle of energy? Lace up your running shoes and sign up to be part of the America’s Kids Run, 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14, the same day as the Armed Forces Community Run at Peterson AFB. Ages 5 and 6 will run a half mile; ages 7 and 8 will run one mile; ages 9-13 will run two miles. Registration is free and is available online at http://americaskidsrun.org. WORLDWIDE DAY OF PLAY
We join with Nickelodeon in urging children to turn off the TV and the computer and “Get up, get out and go play!” We celebrate playing outside with bouncy castles, games, prizes and great snacks. Held annually in September.
