Used Car Lot
The authorized place on Peterson AFB to display your vehicle for sale is the Used Car Lot, located near Outdoor Recreation and ITT, Building 640. This is THE PLACE to sell your vehicle or find a good used one.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SELLING A VEHICLE ON THE USED CAR LOT
- Vehicle registration
- Proof of car insurance
- DoD ID card
Bring these items to Outdoor Recreation during normal hours of operation. Read our rules and regulations about the Used Car Lot, fill out the necessary registration forms, and then park your vehicle in the assigned space. The fee is $5 per week. You may register and pay for up to four weeks at a time only. The maximum time limit on the Used Car Lot is six months.
TIPS FOR SELLING YOUR VEHICLE
Some vehicles sell in hours; others take months. What makes the difference?
- Buyers want a clean, nice looking vehicle. Spruce it up a bit both inside and out.
- Ask a reasonable price. We suggest something below the Blue Book price.
