PCS Child Care Program
Are you an active duty Air Force member who is currently PCSing to or from Peterson AFB or Cheyenne Mountain AFS? If so, you are eligible for the Child Care for PCS program. This program is intended to provide assistance to families in the process of a PCS move. The Air Force Aid Society will pay up to 20 hours of child care (per child) in certified Family Child Care homes on base.
This program is open to all ranks if childcare spaces are available. Only active duty Air Force personnel may participate. The family must be on PCS orders and request a certificate within 60 days of their departure from or arrival at Peterson Air Force Base or Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station.
You can pick up your PCS for Child Care certificate from the Peterson Family Support Center, Bldg 350. For more information, please contact the Relocation Assistance Program at 556-6141 or the Family Child Care Office at 556-4322.
