Lifeguard & Instructor Courses
The Aquatic Center now teaches American Red Cross classes, which require pre-registration and non-refundable pre-payment. Some courses require the participant to pass a pre-test in order to register.
American Red Cross Lifeguard Course
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be certified as ARC lifeguards and certified in oxygen, first aid and AED use. Cost for the class and book is $175, and a deposit of $100 will be taken at registration with the balance to be paid the first day of class. Participants will need to pass the ARC lifeguard pre-test to be eligible to attend the class. Call 556-4608 for complete details.
