What was brewin’? Suds. Really good suds.
The Club’s 10th Annual Homebrew Fest was Friday, February 20, and it was THE best place to sample great suds. This year, the Homebrew Fest boasted over 520 entries! That’s a lot of beer.
With Colorado being one of the fastest growing regions for craft beers, this annual fest was the place to enjoy great new micro brews, new regional beers and some tasty local home brews.
The Homebrew Fest was from 5:30-10 p.m. at The Club. In addition to the fantastic assortment of suds, customers sampled some tasty treats, while groovin’ to the live tunes performed by Arch Hooks.
Prizes were awarded for different BJCP categories, some of which were combined, based on the number of entries and at the discretion of the competition organizer. To participate in the 2016 event, homebrewers can call (719) 574-4100 for more information.
Admission to the 10th Annual Homebrew Fest was $15 for Club members, $20 for non-members. The first 350 attendees received a commemorative beer glass.
